David Ward - Known to his friends as "Dave R1" A very special friend of our's Tragically passed away 18th April 2007, After a motorbike accident on his way home from work... Dave leaves behind his Mother June, Brother Ian, Sister Samantha, Daughter Laura, Son Thomas & all of his family & friends that knew & loved him.
Dave loved Motor Bikes (R1's) & going on ride out's with "Ozzy" (Colin Osborne) & the lads on Wednesday & Friday evenings, & early Sunday morning rides. He always had a smile on his face & a story to tell. Every time we stopped for a break Dave would get out his tobacco tin & start making a roll up "often dropping it all over the floor" he, he.
He was a lovely person..."one in a million"....we miss him soooo much...& think about him every single day....Dave you will never be forgotten Mate!!!
Dave joins his Dad Sid & Sister Debra to rest in piece

& Ellie has a Yamaha Aerox "Rossi Rep" she's 17 now & has just started driving lessons aswell :)

To my best friend dave,you were the most loyal friend any person could ever have,great to talk to about music,we had some fantastic times at gigs,we had the best times gettin so drunk,so so many great memories so many laffs which i'll never forget i even miss our disagreements ya tart,you will never be forgoten,i think of you every day.

Just wanted you to know Wardy that your always in our thoughts. Carl and I speak of you often. Recently I spoke with Bramo apparently Howards getting married again :) We always speak of you Dave, you'll never be forgotten my friend. My earliest memories of you down at St Francis Youth Club and our trips to Cadbury cottage, your 1st bike. If memory serves it was a blue Yamaha FS1E. Great days Dave, just fantastic. Oh and how you'd play queen songs through your tape recorder sat outside interflora in Cotteridge wearing than horrendous afphgan coat. You had a wonderful personality Dave and we all loved your company.

Miss you millions
Its been almost 2 years and I still cant believe you are gone. I miss you more and more each day and it doesnt get easier. I love you so much and hate the fact I cant talk to you anymore when I need someone to talk to. I just wish I had made you do my car that night instead of me doing it, you wouldnt have been on your bike at the moment the bitch crossed the dual carriageway. I will love you forever and every time I look in the mirror I am glad dad gave us the same genes. x x x
